Are you a member of Bicycle Network?
For a long time Bicycle Network supported fining cyclists who choose to ride without a helmet. This year BN has been reviewing that policy and has been improving its policies on a range of issues generally. One of Freestyle Cyclists’ founders is standing for the BN board to help support this trend and make BN a more effective advocacy for cycling, and we recommend a vote for Nicholas Dow if you are a BN member. We also recommend Gillian Hatch for your second vote, Gillian and Nicholas have worked together on campaigns, and Gillian shares our view on the need to reform harmful anti-cyclist laws including mandatory helmet laws.
Voting starts today, Monday 24th September. If you are a member of Bicycle Network and don’t receive an email from BN with details, check with their membership staff.
