Hi Everyone,
Just a reminder that we are holding our annual ‘Stop Fining Healthy Transport’ helmet optional protest ride in Melbourne this Saturday. As I mentioned in the earlier email, we are ‘back-pedalling’ on the publicity this year, which should create a sociable ride where members and others might feel comfortable to bring a friend along.
Details of time and place are:
Date:Saturday 13th March
Start:Meeting at 10.30 for an 11.00am start
Place:815 Nicholson St. Nth. Carlton, outside Park Dining on the Capital City Trail
Some of us will arrive early (around 9.30 – 10.00) if you would like to join us for coffee before.
Looking at the weather forecast, it looks a little dodgy. Warm early on (top of 26) with a change developing later in the day involving showers and a drop of ten degrees in the temperature. Hopefully the change will not arrive until after lunchtime – fingers crossed!
